【摘要】:Specimensforanalysismustbeadequatelysampled,packaged,anddocumentedtoobtainmeaningfulinformationfromthelaboratory.Thesamplingprocedureandpackagingwillbedependentuponthereasonfortakingthesample.1.1Thispracticecoversmethodstoremovesamplesofcoatingfilmsforsubsequentanalysisrelatedtoidentificationofgenericcoatingtypeandfailureanalysisorotherreasons.Thesetechniquescanbeusedinthefield,thefabricatingshop,orlaboratory.1.2ThemethodforobtainingcoatingsamplesforheavymetalanalysisispresentedinPracticeD5702.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
