【摘要】:1.1ThispartofIEC61508containsthedefinitionsandexplanationoftermsthatareusedinparts1to7oftheIEC61508seriesofstandards.1.2Thedefinitionsaregroupedundergeneralheadingssothatrelatedtermscanbeunderstoodwithinthecontextofeachother.However,itshouldbenotedthattheseheadingsarenotintendedtoaddmeaningtothedefinitions.1.3IEC61508-1,IEC61508-2,IEC61508-3andIEC61508-4arebasicsafetypublications,althoughthisstatusdoesnotapplyinthecontextoflowcomplexityE/E/PEsafety-relatedsystems(see3.4.3ofIEC61508-4).Asbasicsafetypublications,theyareintendedforusebytechnicalcommitteesinthepreparationofstandardsinaccordancewiththeprinciplescontainedinIECGuide104andISO/IECGuide51.IEC61508-1,IEC61508-2,IEC61508-3andIEC61508-4arealsointendedforuseasstand-alonepublications.ThehorizontalsafetyfunctionofthisinternationalstandarddoesnotapplytomedicalequipmentincompliancewiththeIEC60601series.1.4Oneoftheresponsibilitiesofatechnicalcommitteeis,whereverapplicable,tomakeuseofbasicsafetypublicationsinthepreparationofitspublications.Inthiscontext,therequirements,testmethodsortestconditionsofthisbasicsafetypublicationwillnotapplyunlessspecificallyreferredtoorincludedinthepublicationspreparedbythosetechnicalcommittees.1.5Figure1showstheoverallframeworkoftheIEC61508seriesandindicatestherolethatIEC61508-4playsintheachievementoffunctionalsafetyforE/E/PEsafety-relatedsystems.
